An Update on Josh

Let me begin by saying Josh has recovered! What a Birthday! A dirt biking accident left him with severe concussion the day before his Birthday. I received a call that he was in the Emergency Room...four hours away from home. He was riding in the desert, hit a rock and lost control of his bike. He was in full gear but landed on the side of his head. He suffered short term memory loss for about 8 hours. Praise God the CT scan showed no bleeding in his brain. His friend and cousin took excellent care of him but it was so hard helplessly waiting for answers at home. He was released from the ER around 8pm after showing significant neurological improvement and returned home the next day, his Birthday. He doesn't have memory of the accident or the 8 hours following but he has regained all short term memory. Praise God.

We celebrated his Birthday the evening he returned how. I had bought him a ski helmet, Ironic! I joked with him that he needs to wear the helmet everyday.

Thank you Lord for my kind, loving, funny husband. Thank you for your healing.
