Yesterday Jett started saying "Da da"... but is more of a "Duh Duh ". Josh and I were chatting while driving in the car and all of sudden "duh" came from the back seat. It was music to our ears! For the last few weeks we were unsure if our little boy had full hearing. He failed a hearing test in both ears at his six month appointment. His babbling had stopped and he wasn't responding to noises. A visit with the audiologist put our fears to rest. He had a little fluid in his ears but was responding to noise as he should for his age. This last week the babbling has begun...praise God. Every "ahh" and now "dah!" reminds us to give thanks to God for our little boy's hearing. Thank you to all who prayed for Jett.
